Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Case Simulator mobile application ("the App", "we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Age Requirement

The App contains simulated gambling mechanics and is rated 18+. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly permit use by anyone below that age; if you believe a minor is using the App, contact us at ploegenroosterapp@gmail.com.

2. What the App Is

Case Simulator is an entertainment product that simulates the experience of opening weapon cases and playing chance-based mini-games. It is a simulation only:

• No real money can be won, withdrawn, or cashed out from the App.
• No real-world goods or items are awarded at any point.
• Real money spent in the App buys optional features and upgrades. Some of these increase the free rewards you receive while playing — for example, more cases in each supply drop or more room in the Auto-Opener. Real money never directly buys in-game balance, cases or items, and nothing in the App can ever be withdrawn, cashed out or transferred.

Because nothing of real-world value can be won or withdrawn, the App does not constitute gambling and no gambling licence is held or required.

3. Virtual Items and Virtual Currency

All balances, skins, knives, gloves, cases, and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are simulated content. Specifically:

• Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, regardless of any price figure shown next to them in the App. Prices displayed in the App are illustrative references to third-party market data and do not represent any value you own, are owed, or can realise.
• Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold or owned by you. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them inside the App.
• Virtual Items cannot be transferred, traded, sold, gifted for value, exchanged, or converted into real money, cryptocurrency, other virtual currencies, or any item outside the App. The App provides no mechanism to do so, and attempting to do so outside the App (for example, selling access to your device save) is a breach of these Terms.
• Virtual Items exist only within your installation of the App. They are not an account balance, a deposit, a stored-value instrument, or a debt owed to you.
• We may modify, rebalance, reset, or remove Virtual Items at any time as part of updating the App.
• You receive no refund or compensation for Virtual Items under any circumstance, including loss of your device, uninstalling the App, using the in-app "Delete Account" function, or termination of your access.

The in-app gift feature does not transfer anything. When a friend sends you a gift, the item is newly created by our servers and awarded to you; nothing is taken from the sender's inventory and nothing moves between players.

4. Randomised Items and Odds

Opening a case, playing a mini-game, or receiving a gift produces a randomised outcome. Before you open a case, the App shows the chance of every item it can contain, and those are the exact odds the App uses. Every case opening, whether one at a time, several at once, with the Mass Opener or in a case battle, is decided at random at the rates shown, and past results never change future ones. There are two exceptions, described below.

Starter Kilowatt cases. New players get free Kilowatt cases as a tutorial, and these openings are guided rather than random:

• Within your first 50 Kilowatt openings you are guaranteed a Classified item on the 10th and 25th, a Covert item on the 35th, and a Kukri Knife | Fade somewhere from the 40th to the 50th.
• Until you have collected every skin in the Kilowatt Case, some openings are set to give you a skin you are still missing.

Once your Kilowatt collection is complete, this guidance stops for good, and Kilowatt cases use the odds shown like every other case.

The Auto-Opener. The Auto-Opener is a free feature that opens cases for you over time, and its rewards are not the same as opening those cases yourself. Each case is rolled at the odds shown, and then:

• items below Classified are sold for you straight away, for a set percentage of their value;
• each Classified-or-better item it keeps for you is swapped for another item of the same rarity, worth about that same percentage of the item rolled;
• an item worth more than a set maximum may be rolled again.

We may adjust this percentage and maximum as part of balancing the game.

Optional paid upgrades (for example, a raised bet ceiling, a case discount or more cases in each supply drop) change the conditions under which you play. They never change the odds of any case, do not guarantee any particular outcome, and do not entitle you to any specific Virtual Item.

5. Purchases

• All purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details.
• A purchase grants a licence to use an optional feature within the App. It does not grant ownership of anything.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play, under its own refund policy, not by us. You can request one from your Google Play order history.
• If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. By purchasing and immediately accessing a feature in the App, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that this right lapses once the feature has been delivered. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
• Prices may change. A change never affects a purchase already completed.
• Purchases are tied to the Google account used to make them, and can be restored from Settings → More Options → Restore Purchases.

6. Advertising

The App shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including optional rewarded ads you may choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards. Where required by law, you are asked how your data may be used for advertising before any ad loads, and you can change that choice at any time from Settings → More Options → Ad Privacy Options. Declining does not restrict your access to any part of the App. An optional "Ad Free" purchase removes advertisements.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Modify, patch, decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the App, its saved data, or its network traffic;
• Use modified clients, emulated purchase systems, automation, or any tool intended to obtain Virtual Items, purchases, or entitlements you did not legitimately earn or buy;
• Exploit bugs or errors for advantage rather than reporting them;
• Sell, rent, or offer access to your App installation, save data, or Virtual Items to anyone else;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that interferes with other users' use of it.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or to online features, and revoke Virtual Items or entitlements obtained in breach of this section, without notice and without refund.

8. Social Features

The App includes optional friend, referral, and gift features. These are social only. There is no trading, no player-versus-player wagering of Virtual Items, and no mechanism by which items or currency can move from one player to another.

Friend nicknames you set are stored only on your own device and are never shown to the person they describe or to anyone else. Friend and referral codes you choose to share publicly may be used by anyone who sees them; you can regenerate your friend code at any time.

9. Availability and Changes to the App

We provide the App on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, servers, online functionality, or the App as a whole at any time. Some features depend on our servers and will not work while those servers are unavailable. We may require you to install an update in order to continue using the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss.

If you are a consumer, this section does not limit any warranty or conformity right you have under mandatory consumer law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of Virtual Items, saved progress, or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us through the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms.

12. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Not Affiliated with Valve

Case Simulator is an unofficial, fan-made simulation. It is not made, endorsed, sponsored by, or affiliated with Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2, CS2, and all related names, logos, and assets are trademarks or copyrights of Valve Corporation. All other players shown in the App are AI-simulated unless they are friends you have explicitly added.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice in the App before it takes effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
