This Privacy Policy explains how CS2 Case Simulator ("the App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and stores information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we automatically collect the following data:

Device identifier – A randomly generated ID unique to your installation of the App. This is not linked to your name, email address, or any account.
App version – The version of the App installed on your device.
In-game statistics – Simulated in-game data such as total cases opened, simulated balance, experience points (XP), number of ad watches, session count, and totals for in-game games (roulette, coinflip, plinko, case battles).
Purchase status – Whether you have purchased optional in-app upgrades (e.g. Ad Free, Quick Open). We do not store payment card details — all payments are handled by Google Play.

Information You Provide

Feedback messages – If you submit a bug report or suggestion via the in-app feedback form, we collect the message text, its category (bug/suggestion), and your device identifier.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifying information beyond the anonymous device identifier described above.

2. How We Use Your Information

App stability – Detecting save failures and sending crash diagnostics so we can fix bugs.
Analytics – Understanding general usage patterns to improve the App. All analytics are aggregated and anonymous.
Push notifications – Sending you optional notifications when your in-game supply drop is ready or when the black market restocks. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Feedback – Reading and responding to bug reports and suggestions you submit.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

These services may collect additional data (such as advertising identifiers) subject to their own terms. You can opt out of personalised ads via your device's advertising settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation).

4. Image Loading

The App loads game images (weapon skins, cases, agents) from an external server to keep the app size small. These requests contain only standard HTTP information (IP address, device type). No personal data is collected or logged from these requests.

5. Data Retention

In-game data is stored locally on your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or use the "Reset Account" function.
Analytics data sent to our servers is retained for a maximum of 12 months.
Feedback messages are retained for a maximum of 24 months or until actioned, whichever comes first.

6. Data Storage and Security

Anonymous analytics and feedback data is stored on servers hosted by Fly.io. We take reasonable technical measures to protect this data. Given the anonymous nature of the data collected, the risk to your privacy in the event of a data breach is low.

7. Children's Privacy

The App contains simulated gambling mechanics (simulated case opening, roulette, coinflip, and similar games) and is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has used the App and submitted data, please contact us at ploegenroosterapp@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your data:

Right of access – You may request a copy of the data we hold about your device identifier.
Right to erasure – You may request deletion of all data associated with your device identifier.
Right to object – You may object to our processing of your data for analytics purposes.

9. Disclaimer — Game Content

CS2 Case Simulator is an unofficial fan-made simulation game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike 2, CS2, and all related names, logos, and assets are trademarks or copyrights of Valve Corporation.

All in-game items, balances, and statistics are simulated and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be transferred, traded, sold, or converted to real money. This App does not constitute gambling under applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
