Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete the data that CS2 Case Simulator ("the App") holds about you. There are two ways to do it, and both erase the same thing.

The App has no accounts — no username, no email address, no password. Everything we hold is stored against a randomly generated identifier created on your device when you first open the App. That identifier is not linked to your name or any other personal information.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the App

This is immediate and needs no request:

Open CS2 Case Simulator.
Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
Tap DELETE ACCOUNT and confirm.

This erases your local save and instructs our servers to erase everything held against your device identifier.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

If you have already uninstalled the App, or you would rather we did it for you, email:

ploegenroosterapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

We will action the request within 30 days. Please note that because the App has no accounts, we can only identify your records if you can supply your device identifier — so wherever possible, use Option 1 before uninstalling.

What is deleted

Every record we hold against your device identifier is permanently removed, including:

Your player profile — simulated balance, level, XP, in-game statistics and equipped agent portrait
Your friends list, friend requests, friendship progress and any gifts sent or received
Your referral code, the record of any code you redeemed, and any pending referral rewards
Any feedback or bug reports you submitted through the App
Your push notification token and notification preferences
Your advertising and analytics event history

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your data is not retained in a recoverable form after this point.

What is kept, and why

Two narrow categories survive deletion. Both are recognised exceptions to the right to erasure:

What	Why
Purchase records, with your device identifier removed	Completed transactions are financial records we are required to retain for accounting and tax purposes. The identifier is overwritten, so the record survives as a sale and not as a person. Payment details are never held by us in the first place — all payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Anti-fraud records, where a device has been sanctioned for cheating or payment fraud	Retained as a legitimate-interest fraud-prevention measure, so that a sanction cannot be cleared simply by erasing and starting again. These records contain no personal information beyond the identifier itself.

Data held by third parties

The App uses Google AdMob and its mediation partners for advertising, and Google Firebase for push notifications and crash reporting. Deleting your data with us does not automatically delete data those providers hold independently. You can limit their collection directly:

Advertising ID — reset or delete it in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads (Android) or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (iOS).
Ad personalisation — the App's Ad Privacy Options setting reopens the consent form where that form applies to you.
